Your marketing team is already using AI, but proving its value to the business is hard.
It’s doing the easy stuff (e.g. drafting copy, summarising a document, rewording a subject line), but it’s taking time and effort for your team to get the output right and isn’t structurally delivering value.
Useful, but not next-level.
I help close the gap between “we use AI” and “AI is making our marketing measurably more effective”.
How I apply AI in marketing
I work with your existing marketing team to build AI into how the work gets done, so they deliver more, faster, without losing quality or brand voice.
What that comes down to is:
- Finding the real opportunities. Where AI genuinely saves your team time or unlocks work they can’t currently get to (and where it doesn’t).
- Building the foundation. A structured, centralised, and well-maintained knowledge layer covering your positioning, ICP, brand voice, customers, competitors, and what’s worked before.
- Building and testing the workflows. Reusable, tested assets for your highest-value repetitive work: content, research, campaign production, reporting, lifecycle messaging.
- Embedding it in the team. Documentation, training, and process.
- Keeping it delivering (predictably). Models change, your business changes, and the foundation needs feeding. This is where the compounding happens.
What you should know upfront
Some honesty, because this market is full of people who’ll promise you the opposite.
- This is not about replacing your team. If your goal is to cut marketing headcount, I’m the wrong person. My work makes the people you have more productive, and lets an ambitious marketing team punch far above its weight.
- I don’t promise instant magic. This is a conscious investment today, to pay dividends tomorrow, and well beyond. AI adoption is genuinely iterative, and not a one-size-fits-all template. Some deployments work brilliantly, some don’t survive the test of reality. What I can promise is a structured process that finds the wins quickly, reduces dead ends and ad hoc work, and helps your team develop AI-driven automation methodologies that genuinely boost their output.
- AI output needs human oversight. Any consultant who tells you their system runs itself today is selling you a future maintenance problem. Every workflow I build has human review designed into it, and quality control is a key part of my method.
- You’ll own it. Everything I build is documented and built within your environment, with safety guardrails in place wherever necessary. I want your team trained on it, not dependent on me. If you keep me on, it should be because you want to, not because you can’t run it without me.
How I work
As part of my core fractional growth marketing service, I can offer a route to (structural) AI adoption when it makes sense, and when a client desires one.
1. AI Marketing Audit
I map out how your marketing actually works across your acquisition, conversion, and retention engines, interview your team, and identify where AI will and won’t pay off.
You get: a prioritised opportunity matrix separating the quick wins from the bigger bets, an honest read on your data and tooling readiness, and a roadmap you can act on with or without me.
2. Build
We implement the priorities from the audit: the knowledge foundation first, then the workflows and skills that run on top of it, tested against a clear standard of what “good” looks like for your business.
3. Ongoing partnership
The part that compounds. Your knowledge foundation gets richer, your workflows get sharper, new capabilities land as the tools evolve, and your team gets progressively more capable.
This is where AI stops being a tool your team uses and starts being a genuine advantage over competitors who bought a subscription and called it a strategy.
Who this is for
- Growth-stage tech and travel companies, scale-ups, and ambitious SMBs with in-house marketing teams
- Marketing teams with more ambition than capacity
- Marketing leaders who want AI to accelerate growth, not to justify cuts
- Marketing teams already paying for AI tools and not seeing the return
Who it isn’t for: anyone looking for a headcount-reduction exercise, or a one-off automation project with no interest in maintaining it.
Why me
I’m a fractional marketing lead with 20+ years of experience across B2B and B2C in tech and travel. That matters more here than it might sound.
The hard part of this work isn’t the technology. It’s knowing what good marketing looks like, so you can tell the AI what to aim for and recognise when it’s missed. A general AI consultant can automate a workflow. They can’t tell you whether the output is any good, whether the positioning is right, or whether the campaign was ever worth running.
I work with multiple clients to build, deploy, and develop AI-driven marketing automation, and constantly uncover new opportunities and capabilities.
I work at the bleeding edge of AI in marketing, and you benefit from that.
