Fractional Growth Marketing for ambitious scale-ups and established businesses

Your next stage of growth, unlocked

Growth has slowed. The channels that used to work are getting more expensive and less effective. Organic search traffic is under pressure. Your team is busy and stretched, and the skills you need next are hard to find, slow to hire, and expensive to carry full-time.

You don’t need another agency selling you more activity. You need someone senior enough to work out what’s actually holding growth back, hands-on enough to know how to fix it, and experienced enough to see where AI can deliver real ROI.

That’s where I come in.

Senior growth expertise, on the terms you need it

I’m a fractional marketing lead with 20+ years of experience across B2B and B2C in tech and travel. I work with senior leaders and marketing teams to find what’s constraining growth and build a credible and confident path through it.

You get:

  • the strategic judgement of a marketing director
  • the team mentoring and support of a manager
  • the hard-to-hire skills of a specialist
  • the expertise exactly where you need it.

My focus is digital: search, content, paid, conversion, CRM and lifecycle. If your main challenge is an events calendar or a brand refresh, that’s not where I’ll add the most value.

Where growth actually breaks

Most growth problems live in one of three engines. I diagnose across all three, then focus where the constraints really are, and how to break through each.

The acquisition engine

How people find you, and whether anyone’s heard of you in the first place: Search (and AI search), content, paid, outbound, etc.

Often you’re not reaching the people already looking for what you sell, or not enough people know you exist to be looking at all (or both). Teams that have plateaued have usually focused too much on one, and too little on the other.

The conversion engine

How buyers evaluate you, compare you, and choose: Comparison and evaluation content, proof and social validation, messaging, landing pages, CRO, and sales enablement. Most businesses have more growth locked in the traffic they already have than they realise, and increasingly buyers shortlist through AI assistants before they ever reach your site.

The retention and lifecycle engine

CRM, lifecycle marketing, onboarding, and expansion. The least glamorous of the three, and frequently the one with the highest return on attention.

How I work

My process adapts to each client, but engagements generally follow this shape.

1. Discovery

A short, open conversation about your goals, your constraints, and whether I’m the right fit. No obligation, and no pitch if I don’t think I can help.

2. Audit and research

I go deep on your business, your customers, your market, your competitors, your team setup, and audit your current AI adoption and development potential. Strategy without this is guesswork with better formatting.

3. Strategy and roadmap

The highest-impact opportunities, prioritised. You get a clear plan: what to do, in what order, who owns it, and how we’ll know it worked.

4. Execution support

I stay close to delivery: advising, overseeing, or working hands-on alongside your team. Strategy that never survives contact with implementation is just paperwork.

5. Ongoing partnership

Markets shift, channels change, and priorities move. Most of my clients work with me over a longer period to steer, adjust, and keep momentum. That’s where I do my best work.

Where AI fits in

AI is now one of the biggest levers available to a marketing team, and one of the most commonly wasted.

Most teams have adopted AI tools and stalled at the shallow end: drafting a first pass, summarising a document, or using chat for quick solutions. Useful, but a long way from the structural, agent-based productivity step-change they were promised.

Fixing that is a marketing problem, not a technology problem, and it’s become a core part of how I work with clients. Used properly, AI lets your team produce more and better results without adding headcount, without sacrificing quality (and sometimes improving it).

I’m explicit about what this is and isn’t. It’s not about replacing your team. It’s about helping them amplify their ability to deliver better results, quicker.

What I bring to the table

20+ Years of building and leading growth across sectors, in Europe and the US.

Some of what that’s looked like:

  • Built a B2B growth strategy that delivered over 100,000 targeted leads in three years, with webinar campaigns consistently drawing 2,000+ registrants.
  • Fueled the rapid growth of a highly popular B2C/B2B software development learning platform to unlock 3M+ registered users, with strong organic search growth. Filled a PM gap, helping them develop a sound SaaS product to diversify monetisation, supported by strong UX/UI principles and journeys.
  • Reduced a tour operator’s dependency on OTAs by growing organic search traffic threefold, beating their competitors on ChatGPT and Perplexity visibility, and delivered a website that boosted conversion rates by over 50%.
  • Built a tourism destination site to reach 1.5M unique visitors a year, monetising through ad and affiliate placements and developing guidebooks.
  • Led, mentored, and built multiple teams of high-performing marketing specialists.

Who I work with

Two types of people usually bring me in.

The VP or Head of Marketing running a marketing team, being responsible for both strategy and delivery at the same time. Your team is busy, capable, and stretched, and the work that would actually move the needle keeps sliding down the list. I work alongside you, and part of my job is making your team better at theirs.

The founder or CEO at a company with no senior marketing hire yet. You’re making the marketing calls yourself, or a junior or agency is making them for you, and you’re not confident they’re the right ones. You get senior direction without the cost of a six-figure salary.

In both cases: growth-stage tech and travel companies, scale-ups, and ambitious SMBs.
